Sales

From packing the products to selling them

When Iréne came to Emotron to pack products in the warehouse she had to set up working procedures to handle the increasing sales volumes. She is now contributing to the volumes herself in her job with indoor sales.

When I came to Emotron in 1995, it was a small Swedish company with 40 employees. It has been interesting to follow the company’s development, through ups and downs and to being the global group that it is today.

I was employed to work in the warehouse with packing products. This had until then been handled by the people producing them, and there were really no working procedures or equipment to support the work. For me, the first task was therefore to set this up in order to handle the increasing sales volumes. 2001 I got the chance to move to the sales department.

I now work with indoor sales for the Nordic and international markets. This includes sales, order handling, shipment coordination and customer support regarding information on their order status. I am in daily contact with end customers, as well as distributors around the world and other companies in the Emotron group.

My work is very independent and varied. I never know what the day will bring and I am constantly challenged to solve upcoming situations. Being involved in everything from orders for customized solutions to payment arrangements and sales campaigns requires close co-operation with most functions in the company: development, production, service, financing and marketing. It never gets boring!

I’m hoping to continue working with sales and further deepen my contacts with Emotron’s customers. This is the most stimulating part of my work: to do all I can to provide our customers with the best service. It’s something that gives immediate response and satisfaction.
