Great interest for Emotron news at SPS/IPC/Drives

A cost-efficient cabinet concept for high powers, low harmonic and regenerative drives with active front end technology, marine certified units… These were some of the news presented in the Emotron stand at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2010 in Germany. The visitors also showed great interest in the company’s motor-mountable AC drives.

Emotron presented a new standard cabinet concept for high power drives, offering cost-efficient and user-friendly solutions that can easily be adapted to environmental conditions. New drives using active front end technology were also introduced, available as low harmonic units and regenerative units.

Visitors also showed great interest in the company’s motor-mountable AC drives, appreciating the robust and compact design with integrated connections.

“The trend towards decentralized drive solutions was very clear at the exhibition,” says Per Zellman, Vice president Market offering. “We were glad to hear visitors confirming that our AC drives for motor mounting stood out from competition.”
