BRAVIDA has chosen to work with all of Emotron’s Water & Wastewater solutions—primarily frequency inverters, but also soft starters and shaft power monitors depending on the application. The heart of Emotron’s offering is the Emotron FDU frequency inverter, especially valued in water and wastewater applications thanks to its built-in reverse function. If a pump becomes stuck—due to debris, for instance—the system can automatically reverse to clear the blockage without requiring a technician on-site.

One of the major strengths of Emotron’s solution is its user-friendliness. The menu system is logically built with shortcut keys and an easy way to navigate back through the menus—making it easy to use, even for new staff.
Technicians can also manage programming and upload backups directly via the display, without needing an external PLC or computer—saving both time and resources.
Emotron’s soft starters are used in installations where motors need to start and stop gently. This reduces wear on both motors and mechanical components, minimizes power surges, and contributes to more stable operation—especially during pump start-ups.
Emotron’s shaft power monitors are used at BRAVIDA’s facilities to control coarse screens in sewage stations, for example. They monitor screen movement, automatically stop it in case of irregularities, and issue alerts if something is not functioning correctly—an easy and efficient way to protect critical parts of the facility.
