We already know electric propulsion is synonymous with low levels of noise, pollution and vibration. Howevever, CG Emotron has together with collaborator Kräutler developed an electric propulsion system with much more to give.
In this system two energy efficient PM motors run a completely electric propulsion system with a unique integrated PLC allowing you to control each kW used, making sure every penny is well spent.
The propulsion system is run by two Kräutler rudder propellers with 360 degree maneuverability. Together with an intelligent drive solution, the compact and redundant electric propulsion system is ideal where reliability and economic efficiency is key.
The brain behind this electronic propulsion system is is the newly designed Emotron PM main drive in combination with an intelligent control system and auxiliary drives. The drives are programmed to find the best point of efficiency operating the two PM motors.
The control system consist of a unique integrated PLC. The PP65 intelligent integrated automation and control system allows you to view important para- meters such as power consumption and propeller speed. It allows the captain to estimate how far and fast you can go, given a certain power usage.
The integrated control system holds a range of automatic functions and can be easily adjusted to suit specific needs.
