We are pleased to present the new industrial Ethernet bus for our Emotron FDU and VFX drives, based on the M40 generation PROFINET module. This upgrade gives you a 2-port version of PROFINET IO (Class B and C) with advanced S2 system redundancy for PLC systems.
If you have an existing system, we have made it easy to take advantage of this enhanced PROFINET S2 support by offering a simple software upgrade. To enable this feature, simply upgrade to software version v5.13 for Emotron FDU/VFX or v1.31 for Emotron TSA products and install the new Profinet-S2 option.
